All the photos of W8s I have seen have a 'blank' where you would expect to find headlight washer jets was / is this an option or just part of the design?

Cheers

It's not a blank, but a top or a cover if you will. The washer jets only fire up when you have the lights "on" and pull and hold the window washers. Your headlight washers should extend and do their job.

Have been in touch with 'Trevorswain' in Plumpton Green and confirmed I should like to be included in a South of England W8 owners gathering. There is another member in Brighton called Martin and another one in Kent name of Robert Bentley, not sure of exact locations though. That makes 5 of us!
