Did you use stock VW mufflers? At least the tips look stock.

Did you need to do anything with the change in exhaust flow like were any check engine lights set off? car running different?

The only time check engine lights are going to be set off, or may not pass emmisions, is when you mess around with the 'cats' and, or the O2 sensors. Simply changing/deleting mufflers is not going to do that.

The only issue or "legal" problems you may run into if you do, are noise issues with the local Po-po's.

...oh and B5crazy sorry for not getting back to you (just seeing this now), those are Magnaflows with the stock tips welded on.
