Does anyone know what the code is to reset the aiming of the headlights? Since I lowered my car the auto-levelers go nuts when I start the car and point downwards more than they should once they settle. I know someone with a VAG-COM, I just need the code. Thanks!

Jamie, all you have to do is click the url tag at the top of the post reply. It's the button that has a chain link in front of the Earth. OR, simply place the URL /URL (in brackets) tags in the front and behind your link.

If you need help with anything else here, let me know. I'm here to help!

Just tried to re level my headlights, the autolevelling hasn't worked for ages.

vcds found faults on both level sensors, which i've cleared, however when i try and follow the ross tech guide to re level the lights, when i select the 001 group it says error group not available.

Anyone seen this before?

When i clear the codes for the controller, you can hear the motors move (and see the lenses move too if you look) but it immediately comes back and says not adjusted (and if you try to adjust, blah blah)

I know the procedure works cos i did it recently for someone on their lupo gti.

I know my Auto leveling recently stopped and they are too low as well, would having one of those leveling arms on your suspension breaking or come loose make them completely stop leveling or just not level correctly?

I'm not sure. I would have assumed (probably wrongly) that if the sensors weren't working, you could at least log in and reposition the lights manually, but i'm guessing not.

So i'd further guess that if your sensor(s) aren't working, the lights default to the 'low' position, so they don't blind anyone.
