Thermostat email:

Hi There,

Yes it is the exact same part. We're a VW dealership here so it's a genuine
VW part and come with a 1 year warranty. The VW part number is:
07D-121-111-AB $375.84, plus around $12 for shipping. Thanks.

Hello, I'm looking for a replacement thermostat for my '02 W8 Passat. I see
you have one on your site, but I can't see a picture there. Please confirm
whether it's the same as this picture:

and also whether your thermostat comes with a warranty.

Thanks very much for your time

So at least on the U.S. Model you don't need the T10119 tool just a screwdriver, follow the instructions in Bentley for the 4 spoke wheel.

I went ahead and corrected it, thanks! I would imagine there are a lot of false listings on there, I think they mistakenly list the parts as compatible with "All" models of passats when obviously they aren't. If you spot anything is that is blatantly wrong I'll revise it in my list.

Little help... can someone confirm part number for left front hard brake line, between caliper and mounting bracket/rubber hose? Mine is leaking at the caliper.

I have this (4B3611721C):
http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/4B3611721C/ES372031/
...but not 100% sure, as photos don't look the same as what is on the car.

Thx.

Thanks; yeah, I'd had that diagram, but the piece pictured doesn't match what is on the car, but it IS the correct part number.

For future reference, OEM brake lines do NOT come pre-bent - it is the required length, with a nut and a 90-degree on each end, but I had to massage it quite a lot to get it to fit, while the OEM piece had about 4 or 5 bends in it.

In other words - not really worth it. Make your own, which I would have done if I'd known. All the parts (pipe, connectors) are commonly available, and tools (pipe bender and flaring tool) for borrowing from car parts places.
