I dunno about the passat being replaced by the CC, it would be a bad move in my opinion. considering the CC is a "coupe" type car and the passat is more of a midsize sedan. Who knows

Haha thanks, been sneaking around for a while but never got ahead to registrate.
I´ve got a feeling that this is going to be a great place to get the info I need as I´m considering a W8, despite the problems some of you have had, it still seems to be an awesome car.

Let me tell you first hand that this car, is awesome. It does have some known issues, this is true. But the car certainly rewards you handsomely with driving experience. I spent round trip almost 20 hours in my W8 any other car would have been hell, not so with the W8. If the W8 were in pill form it would be a mix of speed, viagra, and nitroglycerin, then dipped in lsd.

srsly

Wow, I think I'm going to add that in my sig on my local club's forum. That is epic!

Hehe sound great.
I´ve had my fathers cars for some days now, and it´s pretty great, but the V5 is to weak with 4M, it could use a horsepower or a hundred more. The Recaro seat wouldn´t be to bad to have ether.

It´s going to be some time before I´ve got the cash to get myself a W8, still got a year left on my Cisco studies, but my goal is set on next spring.

My only concern is to find one, the only MT wagon I´ve found here in Sweden is at a scrapyard, probably smashed. I´ve seen some numbers and it seems there is only 30 W8 in Sweden, and almost all of them are AT.

There's only 95 or is it 98 W8 manual wagons made in the U.S... Took me over a year to find mine. Keep looking.
