Where have people gotten replacement dual-filament brake/tail light bulbs? P21/4W is not common, and further, they are a BAZ15d base... not interchangeable with the super common and readily available P21/5W and it's BAY15d base.

The bulb fitted (OE, I presume) was an OSRAM 7225:

How much is the dealer-of-last-resort going to nail me for one of these things?

It's the left lower brake light (the high beam filament) that is burnt out; the low beam tail light is OK. I'm tempted just to pull the lower bulb on the other side... I still have the upper tails and brake lights, after all.

Pretty common bulb, as far as I remember - I replaced both of mine on the drivers side when I did the rear fog modification.
Picked them up at NAPA for a few bucks - maybe $3USD for a 2-pack?
I later replaced both passengers side when I switched the rear blinker bulbs to Sylvania SS bulbs (bluish mirror tint, but flash amber - had the front blinkers prior as well).

Do you remember what brand you bought - were your P21/4W Sylvania as well?

My two most convenient parts stores only carry GE bulbs, and GE does not even bother to market their P21/4W (lamp code 1122) in North America.

GE Automotive Lighting - North America

I'll try another retailer.

Yeesh... these guys only seem to have GE as well... no P21/4W.

Philips seems to be the best bet (lamp code 12594) if I can find a local retailer.

I gave up on wasting my time... stopped at the dealer on the way home (I drive right by every day).

p/n N 102 510 02, CDN$4.17 for one bulb (an OSRAM 7225L).

Thanks.
