All the cups are for the bolts. I borrowed the tool from the VW dealer. Im not sure what the service position is for the fans. Never have done this before so it was trial and error. Everything went back perfect and no problems at all and its running perfect. I have 898xx miles on it. Have more pictures about how to align the camshaft and the toothed gear if anyone needs.

I finally got mine pulled apart the other day and found a severely shredded belt. Definitely the cause of the problem, and my local dealer also let me borrow the special tool to pull the vibration damper off.
In the process I decided to replace my leaky radiator, serpentine belt and balancer belt cover (cracked) since I had it all torn apart.

Thanks a lot for the pics and help 02passatw8!

It's the T10069 Counter-holder.
The dealership I went to loaned me theirs with a $100 deposit, after they found it (they did not know they had one).
