I was feeling bored/curious a little bit ago so I figured I'd scan my W8 since, to me, it feels like this weather has been beating her up...sure enough...

Can someone that has the Bentley let me know how serious these are and if I should get them checked out, or should I just clear them and see if they come up again?

EDIT: I'm still under 60k miles. If I need a new torque converter that should be covered under the powertrain warranty, correct?

I wouldn't bet on it getting done by warranty, I thought it was 60k or 3 years whichever is first, in any event no warranty will fix an intermittent, thats the biggy financially in your list too and probably the cause of the ABS one, the error 01274 is standard, every Passat I have had this little pig has been present, as for the footwell not seen that one.

I wouldn't bother my butt too much with intermittents, if you do the car will become a real money pit.

I don't trust a lot of the DTC codes I see to be genuine, I think a lot is over enthusiastic software not allowing for the abuse the car gets from the environment or being overly sensitive in its detection method.

Mine has told me that the left hand door speaker has failed when it works fine, told me that the outdoor temperature sensor was intermittent when it has NEVER in all the time I have driven the car read incorrectly

Bottom line I don't trust intermittents I just clear them. If they are regular I may advise when the car goes for service but I sure as sh1t don't act on them outside having a look over and check of cables and connectors to make sure they aren't loose etc.

By the way I spoke to my local stealer being a bit concerned by the gearbox reports (always they are torque convertor failure to lock up) and he said that it isn't necessary to replace the whole gearbox just for a torque converter, the converter is available as a seperate part and providing the proper care is taken and the correct tool used it can be mated to the old box without an issue, I just hope I don't get to prove him wrong!!.

I would agree with you on basically everything you said. I cleared the codes and will check them out next weekend. I've heard that code 01119 always happens too but I could never really find a post that would say anything is wrong. I'm blaming the majority of the codes on the weather and car's software. When it's as cold as it is without a proper warm-up period, I'm betting you can "trick" the software into throwing a code by getting a little, *ahem*, ambitious in this cold weather
