Even if I didn't... I'd still hang here with the cool kids.

Hmm...wonder who the other soul is that voted for "used to own..." Bueller? I thought for sure I'd be the only one.

Nice grab. Can I ask you were you purchased it from? Oh, and how many miles does it have?

I saved it from an insurance company a few months ago -- they were getting ready to scrap it, believe it or not! I am a car nut, and couldn't let that happen to such a unique car.

It had 86,000 miles.

Here are a couple of pictures of it now.

Pictures of my W8

I have removed the license plate, new grill, added a lip spoiler, put a Kenwood DNX in it, replaced the whip antenna with a shark fin (which is now the GPS antenna), new Thor skid plate, and put new wheels and tires on it.

Repairs (to get is back on the road) included: new serp. belt, new lock carrier, new radiator, replaced left wheel bearing housing (bent), and two bent control arms.

Short term plans include: Magnaflow exhaust, cold-air intake, maybe a chip, replace springs and shocks (stock ride a bit soft for me). Also need to visit the dealer and determine how many recalls where done/not.

The previous owner obviously loved this car -- it has been tenderly cared for. Runs like brand new.

I have fallen in love with this car. It is now my daily driver.
