I've been using PBR deluxe pads on my W8 since I bought it. This last set seemed to go pretty quickly and I see most of you use Hawke pads. Are you all satisfied with them? Any other suggestions?

TIA,

Which PBRs? I never had problems with dust using the PBR Deluxes.

I've got the Hawk HPS pads front and rear. They grip very well and leave little dust. They're also very quiet too. I loved them on my RX-7 and love them still on the W8.

What is "pretty quickly"? I'm coming up on ~30k miles (~50k kms) on my PBR Deluxe pads, and no wear issues yet.

I have recently noticed a small shudder when feathering the brakes at "elevated velocities"... front rotors are seeming to be out of true, same thing that prompted the brake job last time.

Apparently they are PBR Ceramics?

The Akebono's were so good for not producing dust...

I'm also getting a shudder. I'll have to check the mileage tonight.

My PBR Dlx pads barely dust at all. Weeks and weeks between washings and wheels still look great.

I just had my rear pads replaced with OEM's. The OEM rear pads went 80k. The front pads/rotor were replaced at 41k and are still going strong....
