I've seen this mentioned a few times by others, figured I would start a thread...seems like there is much interest in which wheels will fit...along those lines, it would be of great help for those of you that have put new wheels on your W8 to share with the forum make/model/size/etc. This would also be a great opportunity for you to show off your W8 with a nice glossy picture!

Well, here's the thing...

The guy is giving me my money back - $50, so I'm keeping the wheels for $50. It isn't worth him giving me my money back plus the money to ship them back to him, he has no use for the rims, so I wil either take the money I'm getting back to fix them up/refinish them or just sell them for dirt cheap for someone else to mess with. I have a set of fat 5's lined up, but I don't know if I want to risk getting another set of used rims. Right now I can get a brand new set of Flik Hornets with Falken tires for about $700 shipped off of Edge Racing. But damn, those Fat 5's are sooo sexy! =)

Oh...and I called a shop to see how much it would cost to straighten the one rim I put on that was not straight...$130...but I'm not sure if that includes refinishing the wheel too.

Usually the 130 per wheel covers refinishing.
Did you get the PM I sent you on pie plate replicas?
Same place carries Fat Funf replicas as well.

Ya, I got the PM...thanks Stewart. =) I'm torn now between the three wheels...refinishing the Pie Plates, getting a set of Fat 5's or a brand new set of flik hornets with Falken tires for about $700 shipped.

BTW, sorry for hijacking your thread! =)
