Yeah, I wouldn't do plastidip, especially with something you'd be handling frequently.

Did you pull all the buttons out to get all the sides of the switch that controls the main light?

Yes, everything that needed to be painted broke down to individual pieces. I did break one of the springs inside one of the map light buttons though, so be careful :( |

Okay, good to know. When I pulled it down before I couldn't get the electronics out. Can I PM you when I get it back down if I need help pulling it apart? I will have to do it soon since you are trying to sell your baby.

Around the edge you should be able to see where the face snaps on. You have to take the face off before taking the buttons out IIRC. It's been a while.

What did you use to "scratch" the paint off of your switches? Everything I have tried so far has pulled/ripped the paint. |

Many thanks. I am finding that the paint is not holding up all as well as I hoped. I think it might have been too bog of a jump from beige to black. Lots of touching up to do
