I was able to get 476 (768 Km) miles out of a tank of gas. My last PB was 450 miles. I believe this this a better way to measure gas mileage than just using the MFA.

How about the rest of you?

BTW, when I filled up this morning I paid $3.49/gallon and needed about 20.6 gallons of gas.

Any tricks to getting such great gas mileage? I am seeing about. 380-400. I am stock auto trans with a K&N filter and 25k on the clock. Please help, I would love to see that kind of mileage to a full tank.

First of all I have a manual tramsmission which helps. I also have a 22 mile commute (each way) with 3 lights and 2 stop signs so there is little stop and go.

I do most of my driving under what could be classified as "extreme" conditions. 15 mile commute during south florida rush hours, accelerate to 45-60mph before stopping ever few blocks to bake in the sun at ridiculously long lights which are usually red again by the time the car in front of you moves. I'm pretty lucky to get 280 miles out of a tank :(

Yeah B5Crazy you may get up to 490 if you fill and stay about 60 to 65 miles per hour with a manual transmition.
I have done it feels good to be on the freeway lol I play with some of the cars he he he. My job is at 7 minutes from home no more than 2 miles I believe and I filled my tank up with 65 or 63 dollars max. And it takes me like a month to empty the tank out. I was looking for a Sunoco gas station but there is not even one where I live at I think they haven't even heard of that gas company. Anyways they have a the highest octagane that is 94 Super of course I'm currently using island that only provide up to 92. I need to find me a better gas station hopefully my car would run better and it will take longer to burn all the gas.

Better yet I need to find me a airplane gasstation and see if it would work for the car HI HI HI.

Just did 415 miles (roughly 50/50 highway and local). All with a heavy foot. $64 bought 19.4 gallons. Average = 21.4 mpg.
