Im new to the forum but have been looking for awhile to find a site about the W8.Its a 2003 with 52k has the sport package. I've done the k&n and getting ready to do the exhaust"magna flows". In the past have owned a couple Audi A6's and loved them, the only complaint was they were dogs of the line. Our last A6 Avant had 112k when we traded it in
and we wanted to get something with more power but all the A6's with the 4.2 were about $5grand more. So we decided on the W8 and couldnt be happier plus the wife loves it..

Great looking ride. Welcome to the club. I just bought my W8 last week. Mine's a 2003 sedan with sport package and 55k miles. I just had sport mode enabled on the tiptronic today, and the K&N will be my next mod as well.

Like you, I did the A4 and A6 thing before and wanted something a little different. My A6 was a 2001 2.7T with sport package. I also looked into A6 4.2s, but decided that the W8 was a better choice in terms of size, handling and price. I have say that so far, I'm pretty impressed with the W8.

Enjoy yours!

I haven't done too much to mine except for replacing the stereo with a Kenwood Excelon, added a small powered sub, XM radio tuner, shark fin antenna (still need to post a couple of pictures of that), ITG panel filter, and a GIAC chip. I will probably change the shocks but not right away. I'm thinking of the Magnaflow exhaust change but not sure if I'll do that or not.
