By coincidence - my first time on Vortex in probably over a year - I notice this on the home page:

Had to a double-take and make sure they weren't photos of my car!

Wow, my car looks exactly the same as well, right down to the gray powdercoat on the wheels!

Sometimes I doubt these production numbers. I mean, it sure was easy for me to find a "Sport" with 6 speed manual.

But you had to drive a good distance to get it. It's not like they're just down the street. Consider yourself lucky..

I literately searched cars.com, autotrader, and ebay every evening for 18 months to find mine.

Found a local Auto wagon very soon after starting my search. Wasn't crazy about the auto.

Then Found a 6spd sedan about 1 hour away and took for a test drive. Nice but decided I wanted to hold out for a 6spd wagon

Then I drive 2 hours for a 6spd wagon (which one our forum member has from NYC. Dealer wouldn't budge on price.

Then about 7 months later I found my current car in VA.

Worth the wait I say.

Looking to buy a W8 Wagon 6-Speed to haul grocceries...And I finally found one on 2-16-2008

Don't forget good ol' Craigslist/SearchTempest...that's how I found mine about 5 hours north. :)

I set email notification on a few websites, Auto Trader was one, and within a few days I got some hits. The car I bought was actually listed as an automatic but when I seen the gear shift knob in the pictures I did a CarFax on the VIN and next thing I knew I was on my way to get it.
