Do you have more details? Mines a 2002 and is throwing airflow too high, just wondering whether it could be related or I need a new airflow meter.

It also stalls sometimes if I apply the brakes out of gear.

What years does it apply to?

Can you post a copy of the recall? Is it truly a Recall or is it a Service Action or Customer Satisfaction notice?

I think this is for all 2002-2004 cars. I got this in mail but I believe you can just go to dealer and ask if they can check your VIN for this recall. I don`t have original document but I have kept bill for repair with $0 on since is under recall. Bill also include everything what was on original recall post sent to me. I know this recall has something to do with moisture and braking system assistance. I will scan bill and you will have this soon...

So far I've only gotten this notice for our family '02 Wagon. I believe it is a recall for 2002 models. I'll check at home later - I just filed the notice for follow-up last night.

Edit follows:

I checked after I got home today, and my letter says it's for model year 2002 sedans and wagons.

It's a Service Action, not a recall.

Service is gratis, of course, and includes cleaning all the air plenum and sunroof drains, modifying the drains, and installing an updated pollen filter seal.

We'll get ours done when it's convenient for us.

I just had my 04 W* in for the 40k Service.
VW wanted to adjust my O2 Sensor range since the Fuel is getting crappy.
I asked them not to do this, I'd rather put Octane Booster in the Tank.

This might have to do with the Service Action Notice P9.
It's not a recall!

Best regards,

Just had it done to mine, and now the fan is making funny noises. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not.
