I am contemplating going down the GIAC Chip path for my 2006 W8 Tip. I have read through the posts but looking for some latest feedback.

Are the performance gains worthwhile?
Any issues with reliability?

Thanks

I had Oliver from Speedtuning reprogram my W8 yesterday. I'm very pleased. I got 1 more mpg on 1st partial tank(already had 180 miles from ride to his house). Power was instantly better even though he said it would take 200 miles of driving for everything to change. Mid range and top increased a good bit, 1,600-2,200 seems unchanged. I have 6MT and hated that damn soft rev limiter in 1st gear. It's still there but moved from 5,000 to 5,500 rpm. I'm guessing 2-3 mpg change with my weekly work commute. That's the best $300 i've spent on a car, period. Oh and he checked for codes and recalibrated those damn heater flaps in the climatronic(sh*t) unit included in the $300 price. I highly recommend!
