I know this is a little old... But I actually swapped over an MK6 GLI wheel in my 04 W8. I picked up a turn signal stalk with cruise on it (But I think its the wrong one as it is not functioning yet). The horn and air bag works. It took me a month or so of research before I figured it out. I can get all my information together again and post it up for you if you are still interested.

I'd love to know how you made it all work!

Nothing sounds like a W8...

It does look great in the car. Nice work!

I'd also be interested in some details as to how you got everything working.

Impressive! Looks surprisingly at home considering the age difference between the car and the steering wheel :)
Get a wagon. Bitches love wagons.
