Mine's doing the same but when turning right. Only when HVAC on, and only when turning right. My Glovebox Squeaks when I hit bumps, and I've been meaning to figure that out, too... might be a good opportunity to do both... Maybe this weekend!

If I find anything I'll let you know.

Blower motor bearings. Try replacing your blower motor or placing a few drops of simple machine oil on the motor bearing. Mine did the same thing and that is what I ended up doing. Problem solved now.

Or you could just blast some metal through the radio. HVAC sounds go away after that. Works wonders for me.

Mine started squeaking again on the weekend, about 8 months after I sprayed lubricant in the general direction of the bearings. I guess now I need to decide whether to try lubricating it again or just buying a new blower assembly.

I used lithium grease and mine has been quite ever since, although I do now have the smell of lithium grease in my HVAC lol

I didn't even get 3 months. Did you buy a replacement or regrease? I have been looking at replacements but they are expen$ive!

Actually the squeaking on mine stopped again.

Based on what I saw when I pulled mine, this one at ECS, branded "OE Aftermarket" is indeed the OEM blower, but with a couple of the markings buffed off. This is the one I would get. http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Passat_B5-4_Motion-W8/Climate_Control/Electrical/ES2568555/
