If you have a local Audi dealer, have you thought to ask them about compatibility? If not, do you have VW dealers in Australia with parts web sites from whom you can order a hose? If not, here is a link to a U.S. VW parts dealer who is popular in America.

Hi
My cooling system dramas continue :(
Replaced the bottom hose, drive for 15 kms and coolant is all over the road again.
Got her towed to the garage.
Top expansion tank had blown the sensors out the bottom of the tank.
New tank installed and taken for test drive.
Pressure is too high, radiator is cool while the engine is hot.
wtf!!!
Any ideas???
This is starting to brake my heart, love my w8 :(

The expansion tank cap is the pressure relief device in the whole system. Have you tried replacing that?

can't believe how many problems you've had with that car... I'd suspect the water pump. reasoning - if it isn't pumping coolant through the system, there are hot spots occurring and if the coolant is turning into steam in the system, it could raise the pressure.
