March 15th 2019 I had my W8 16 years. Today, the odometer turned to 90,000 miles.
Fingers crossed for another 16 years, I shall be 91 then!

Who/which will last the longest !!!???

What major repair work, if any, have you had to perform during the past 16 years?

Good Afternoon Orangeoki (Wonderful name!)

Thanks for your reply.
Well,as you can imagine in 16 years there has been a fair amount of work done on the car. Without going into every little visit to the dealer (adding up the bills would be frightening!) here are some of the major jobs that have been done.
Fortunately, the very expensive ones covered by an extended warranty.

Numerous injectors
‘second bank control housing’ replaced
Torque converter replaced
Thermostat replaced
Complete dash panel assembly replaced

And of course ‘The Big one’....New engine fitted as previous one had lost all compression,   Somewhere in the world one was found! Not something a dealer would have sitting in their parts department!
This was covered under my extended warranty at a cost of about £15,000.00 pounds. The invoice has gone AWOL at the moment.
If you have a look at previous posts you should find more details of the work.

Plus as I posted earlier, I had fitted a new petrol tank just a while ago.

Boy, I must love the car!
Regards
Awesome Beast
