I cruise at around 77 MPH or so (speed limit 70 in Michigan...cops ignore you at <80). This gives me around 20 MPG highway.

If I drive the car hard, I can get as low as 15 MPH but I've really got to be flogging it. For an average tank I'm closer to 17.

Well I did a 300 mile drive 2 weeks ago in my bog standard 03 wagon (auto tiptronic, locked in sport), mostly motorway and dual carriage ways and the car showed an average of 32mpg !!!! I believe it too as I only used 1/2 tank of petrol for the journey. I drove at a steady 65mph....very slow. I have done the same journey at much higher speed and had to stop and fill up after 240 miles!!!!
So high MPG can be achieved if you really try or want I suppose.

I avg 18-20 mpg 99% of the time. I can't seem to get better mpg unless I go a steady 50 mph on a very flat road.

Probably 60/40 city and short highway stints but a fair amount of hills, I average 18.4 mpg (UK gallon) on 91 Premium. In winter this drops by 2-3 mpg.

Can't see getting much more because the instantaneous consumption rarely falls below 9L/100km unless I'm going downhill!

I've topped 20 mpg on a tank with lots of city but I was babying it just to see if I could get 20.

I fill up about 65L at a time so I suppose I could stretch the range more...but why? It hurts to fill up regardless but these days the wife's Odyssey is actually doing worse. And with a thrashy loud V6.

W8 is smooth and sounds beautiful. All worth it.

In the winter here I average 15-16mpg. I think that's because of the oxygenated fuel they use during the winter, and also the highest octane available in AK is 90. In the summer, I get up to 26mpg highway, and mixed is usually 20-21mpg.

18.5 Around Town. That's stop-n-go 45 - 65 MPH. I've dicovered the ECON button. I'll see if that makes a difference!

I had a 250+ mile ride home after picking up my 2003 W8 Wagon. It was ALL freeway, so I thought it would be a good HighWater mark for gas milage. I recieved the car with a fairly empty tank. Surprise Number 1, the car took just over 20 Gallons to fill! I put 93 Octane Premium in it, as that's what I'm used to putting into my Crossfire. I traveled with CruiseControl set at Mach .1 (75 MPH) with occaional "Bursts" up to 85 - 90 MPH.

But with 251 miles on the Tripometer, it took a Miserly 11.1 gallons to top off the tank.

MPG = 22.6

We'll see what "City Driving" comes back with after a week or so.
Cheers!
