Instantaneous readouts don't count!

That's pretty impressive... is that for a whole tank? How'd you do that?

It was just a lil trip to countryside (no whole tank), and I wanted to see how good mpg (or l/100km) I can get by really concentrating on the pedal.

Btw, I just love the sound of the engine, even with low rpms... it's like a purring kitten! This love is going to last (until death or total breakdown do us part)

My 2003 W8 gets 19-20 mpg overall, but I notice that when it is close to oil change time, the mpg drops 1-3. The synthetic oil may want to be changed a little more often than 5k?

Thoughts???[F

I was wondering if it is my torque converter failing me, but I've yet to trhow a code/CEL. If it is the problem, it had better go out before the warranty ends!!!

City: 16-18
Hwy: 22-23

I expect both numbers to rise a mile or two per gallon in the coming year. After my last encounter with the local plods, I'll have to be a very, very good boy.

Just started a forum on LPG before I saw this one - fuel consumption isn't brilliant is it? On my BMW 540i (4.5litre engine) I get around 26-27mpg (UK gallons not US) which is about 10.5litres/100km for anyone who's on metric measurements.
