Patrick (dubya_eight) looked into getting the rights from VW to use the logos - I'm not sure exactly where it stands. It seems to be a pretty involved process that may or may not succeed. We might be able to find a store that will print the W8 logo, but I have a feeling most will say no - perhaps if they didn't know what it was.
The W8 logo would be very cool, I'm all for it. Though someone will need to look into license rights or a store willing to print it w/o them.

What if we "borrowed" an idea from the old Ford V8 logo; instead of a 'V', insert a 'W'?

Get a wagon. Bitches love wagons.

i'm still liking the W8 font from the car. there would only be a problem using the W8 logo if this website were in business to make a profit from the items. the worst VW can say is stop making the t-shirts. there will be so few of these made/worn that it wouldn't have a chance to hit VW's radar. also, don't forget that this car's production ended over four years ago, so there's even less interest from them to defend it.

Back

I dont think so...it's been over a month with no one even looking. So, I'm keeping it and just enjoying the ride.

If you do that it's copyright infringement. It's been discussed previously. That's why we need to come up with our own designs and ideas. I still like Jon's idea for a shirt.
